If a single flush isn't enough, what else can you do? How To Make Your Toilet Flush More Powerful:

Have you ever encountered a toilet that failed to flush properly? Are you stuck with the humiliating task of waiting in the bathroom until you can flush the toilet again? This issue makes it more difficult to keep your toilet bowl clean and wastes water by requiring you to flush it multiple times. Here are some home solutions for increasing the flushing power of your toilet!

Step 1:

Determine whether or not your no clog toilet is clogged. You can do this by filling your toilet with a gallon of water and flushing it. You most likely have a blocked toilet if it does not flush efficiently. A toilet can be unclogged with a regular plunger or snake. If you don't have one of these, see how to unclog a toilet without them in our prior post. If, on the other hand, the toilet appears to flush properly, you can proceed.

Step 2:

Remove the toilet tank cover in step #2. Check that the water level in the tank is at the same level as the authorized line. You must use your water tank float assembly if the water level isn't matched up.

Step 3:

Look around the rim of your toilet bowl for toilet flush openings. This one might require you to get down on your hands and knees. These little apertures that send water out during a flush can become clogged at any time. When you flush, the pressure of the water stream is reduced. To clear any blockages, try pushing a bobby pin, coat hanger, or small drill bit into these holes. Finally, flush the toilet and examine the water pressure to see whether it has improved.

Step 4:

Use bleach to clean out your toilet. Make sure your toilet's water tank supply is turned off before you begin. The water supply valve should be located in a tube that emerges from the wall or the floor. To completely shut off the water, turn the valve knob to the right. Pour a gallon of bleach into your toilet bowl and leave it to sit for no longer than 15-20 minutes. Flush the toilet after the bleach has sat for a while. This allows the bleach to make its way naturally through your small corner toilets a system, clearing any built-up blockages that have been lowering your toilet's flushing effectiveness. The toilet water supply can then be turned back on (enabling the toilet to flush).

Step 5:

A vinegar soak is a final step in enhancing flush power. To begin, remove the lid from your toilet tank. If the overflow tube has a rubber fill hose on top of it, carefully remove it. Place a funnel on the tube inside your toilet tank's tank. Pour about a quart of white vinegar down the funnel into the tube. Allow at least 2 hours for the vinegar to rest. The vinegar disinfects and aids in the removal of waste deposits that have accumulated in your toilet system.

Taking the time to go through these five procedures should help your toilet flush more effectively. If you don't notice a difference after following these procedures and you're still having trouble flushing your toilet, you might want to consider replacing your toilet system. Old toilets are more difficult to repair on your own and may require a full replacement or the assistance of a professional plumber.
